A Crazy Ode

Copyright Dhiraj Joshi- written on September 3, 2005

Oh Gravity, I bow to thee,
you are Newton's great discovery,
I wonder what would've fallen;
Did apple not fall from the tree.

Planets gladly dance to thee,
To this day, since eternity,
To your force, they all surrender;
And move in circular trajectory.

Oh Electricity, I bow to thee,
You make the world darkness free,
You offer heat and power,
And run the world effectively.

Electrons gladly dance to thee,
To this day, since eternity,
To your force, they all surrender;
And move in circular trajectory.

Magnetic force, I bow to thee,
You're one mysterious entity,
You act on a charged body;
Which is moving with velocity.

The compass needles dance to thee,
They move in three sixty degree,
To your force, they all surrender;
And mark the world's Geography.

Now lets end this Science spree,
They are GREAT, we all agree,
For some moments, shift our focus;
To arts practised piously.

Oh Music, I bow to thee,
You bring endless smiles and glee,
Your tone, soft and soothing;
Is sorrow's best remedy.

Love-birds gladly dance to thee,
They move slow and rythemically,
To your force, they all surrender;
And turn into your devotees.

Oh Poetry, I bow to thee,
You say a lot, expressively,
Within your verse and stanzas,
Are life's beautiful ironies.

Now I end this crazy poetry,
It's sounding like a travesty,
I'll revisit this poem later;
And write more thoughtfully.
